Mazda's 70MPG Wonder - SKYACTIV-G

Mazda has brought some oohs and aahs to the automotive world with the release of their new SKYACTIV-G engine, a purely fuel-injection gasoline mill that can operate in excess of 70MPG. It's set to be rolled out in Mazda's new Mazda2 in Japan early next year, a compact car built on the Ford Fiesta chassis. Whether or not this version will ever actually make it stateside is another story.
